Fresh install of Joomla! 2.5.9 did indeed produce the error. Plug-in has been updated and now works with 2.5.9.
The problem was also solved by upgrading to Joomla! 2.5.18.
You are using Joomla! 2.5.9 which is a very old version (current is 2.5.18). Please update to 2.5.18 and meanwhile I will check the plug-in with a fresh 2.5.9 install and post my results here.
